Agent Spotlight: Larry Littrell, Best Choice Realty
HVL: Tell us a little bit about yourself.
Sure! I’m a Snohomish County real estate agent and a lifelong Washington resident with a passion for real estate and providing superior customer service. I recently returned to the real estate industry and have experience as a general contractor and landscape designer. I signed up with Home Value Leads about 3 months ago or so.
HVL: What other lead generation strategies have you used and how do they compare to Home Value Leads?
Larry: Before Home Value Leads, I primarily used 3 forms of advertising/lead generation: Geographic farming, Zillow, and boosted Facebook posts. With geographic farming, I’ve been able to get 2 listing appointments and one actual listing. I paid for Zillow for a full year and never saw any actual earnings.I’ve been doing boosted Facebook posts for the past 2 years which has provided me with the majority of my business.
And then I found Home Value Leads. In the past 3 months, I’ve spent about $900 in ads and generated 3 transaction sides (about $30,000 in gross commission income) and have two more sellers that I am helping to prepare their homes for the market.
HVL: Those are great results. What is your follow-up strategy with these leads?
Larry: Texting is my best lead converter. If I get a phone number, I text them immediately. I also mail thank you cards to all complete leads and continue to follow up with them regularly.
HVL: Why do you think some agents are successful while others are not?
Larry: If they aren’t successful using Home Value Leads, they probably are not following the instructional videos. For lead conversion in general, the number one issue is not following up. I am very conversational and friendly with my leads.
HVL: If you could give agents 1 piece of advice that would change the way they use the system, what would it be?
Larry: Seek to help not to “get” the listing. Follow up in a friendly non-invasive way.
