You’ve heard in our last posts about the virtues of Snapchat. First, from a Millennial and then a Seasoned Marketer. Now, we’d like to give you some insight into this often confusing but growing social network from two specialty real estate agents.
First, we have Jesse Yoskowitz, Co-Founder and CEO of Limitless Group in New York City, whose group specializes in ultra-luxury listings. They’ve been involved in more than $2 billion worth of real estate deals

“For us, it is all about marketing. Marketing to get new listings and marketing to sell the listings. At Limitless, we have to be extremely creative on how we market and catch the eye of our clients and consumers. A lot of our market is on snapchat and is on it daily. Whether our clients are buying or renting we can still catch their eye. What we do to leverage and use snapchat are the following:
“We take them through our day to day. Show them what we do and show them how hands on we are with all of our clients and listings. When we are physically in an apartment, we will snap it. We will take them on a virtual tour of the apartment. Maybe we will throw in a geo-tag in there to show where this apartment is.
“We will also write a caption with it most of the time of a brief description of the apartment. If we have a chance and the marketing budget is right, we will create and buy a geo-tag for a specific apartment so that people will come across it when someone is snap chatting in the area.”
Next up, we have Ivan Ciraj. While his real estate deals include a variety of real estate properties, he has a specialized focus on condos in Mississuaga. Specifically, he is the creator of SquareOneLIFE and IVAN Real Estate providing buying/selling services for Square One condos.

“Adapting to the latest trends is vital for succeeding in today’s modern real estate environment. I utilize Snapchat to keep in touch with potential clients and people in my greater network.
“One of the prime methods I utilize is to visit new construction condo launch events and to Snapchat the event itself. Many people once seeing this end up replying and requesting more information. This is a great way to show people different options, without constantly bombarding them with emails.”
And there you have it! Snapchat from the perspective of different realtors with different experiences. It just goes to show, no matter you experience in real estate, background or specialty, Snapchat can be a great way to get leads as well as to brand yourself within today’s highly competitive real estate market.
If you have any qualms about using Snapchat, don’t forget – it took some time for many real estate agents to use Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and Pinterest. But now that you’ve had some experience with social media, it’s time to jump on the Snapchat bandwagon and to get set to work with the next generation of sellers and buyers.
